Every routing tool can recompute a route. Few of them tell you what the new route costs the rest of the day: the windows that move, the driver who now finishes late, the pickup that no longer fits.
Mid-shift changes need a different question than the morning plan. Not "what is the fastest route from here" but "which change keeps the most promises".
We walk through three real mid-shift reroutes and the trade-offs each one hid, and show how to make the cost of a change visible before committing to it.
